  • Get Your Business Online Quickly – Audio Post

Listen to the Audio

One of the biggest lessons from the Pandemic of 2020 is that we need to be flexible and agile. And like a cat, no matter how far we fall, we always land on our feet.

As we've gone through the many twists and turns of the previous year, whether it's lay offs, temporary and permanent closures, and just plain uncertainty, last year seemed like a year of personal and financial losses for many people.

At the same time, there were also a few wins that I think will change the way we think about the world of work. Because the thing that also happened in all the chaos, was that many people were forced to work from home.

They received a crash course on setting up a home office, and attending Zoom meetings to do business. As a result, some people have gotten really good at making things work online.

The Unintentional Thing That Happened as a Result of the Past Year

This change enabled people who used to work in the office to be thrown into test driving the work from home lifestyle. Some are still working from home. Some will never return to the office.

While workers are test driving working from home, companies are testing it as well. Some companies have decided to extend the time their employees will work remotely. Some have decided to keep their workers remote indefinitely.

The other thing that happened is that employees who never thought about working from home prior to the pandemic have a better understanding of how well (or not) they like working from home.

Some have had more time to learn more about other ways of making a living. They understand the power of creating multiple streams of income and they have gained an appreciation of how having a home business can impact their finances and their lifestyle.

Here are the Basics for Getting Online Quickly

As you'll learn from the audio, it's important to understand and implement all four of these elements to set your business up for success.

For example, if you have three out of the four elements in place, you'll need to work on getting the fourth element to get the best results.

Hopefully you've listed to the audio and you know the basics. Be sure to tune in to our live training sessions where I walk you through the process of setting up your business. You can also use the links below to see the entire series.

As you go through the training, start brainstorming ideas. Get a notebook, use Google Docs, or some other note taking application and jot down your ideas as you go through the series.

To get off to the best start (or even if you have a business you want to improve) create a written plan that will grow with your business. It doesn't have to be a long and boring, but it does need to capture your ideas, goals and objectives.

I recommend How to Write a Business Plan shown here. I recommend it because it's easy reading and it shows how to write a short plan as well as long plan, based on your needs.
