Without data you can use to track how well your site is doing, its hard to make good business decisions. In this post we will talk about the Facebook Pixel, what it is, and how it helps you analyze, monitor and grow your business.

The Facebook pixel is an analytics tool that you install on your site. It allows you to measure the effectiveness of your advertising by understanding the actions people take on your website.

You can use the pixel to:

  1. Ensure that your ads are shown to the right people. Find new customers, or people who have visited a specific page or taken a desired action on your website.
  2. Drive more sales. Set up automatic bidding to reach people who are more likely to take an action you care about, like making a purchase.
  3. Measure the results of your ads. Understand more about the impact of your ads by measuring what happens when people see them.

Facebook doesn't allow business building on a personal profile. So Facebook pixel is only available to users of Facebook Pages.

The pixel, along with other features on your Facebook page, makes using the Facebook platform and major advantage for businesses.

Using Facebook pixel, you can track when someone takes action (converts) on your website from a Facebook ad.

The pixel receives actions, or events, like adding an item to their shopping cart or making a purchase, which you can view on your Facebook pixel page in Events Manager.

What Is Retargeting?

Custom audiences (and other audience variations) are what makes Facebook a giant in online marketing.
